Reflecting on 2020 and Thriving in 2021

As we close on 2020 and celebrate our first new year as Ruby Media, we take this time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished during our debut year and what we hope to accomplish in 2021. We are excited about the things we have planned on the horizon, along with what new opportunities will present themselves during the year.

There have been many ways to describe 2020. We wouldn’t be the first to use the words unprecedented or tumultuous to describe how last year was for many businesses. For us, we had to not only build who we are, but how we operated during these times.

Despite the pandemic, we safely worked with businesses and organizations from multiple states across the country, all while maintaining proper COVID protocols and providing complete safety to our employees, partners, clients, and talent. We know that this pandemic is still ongoing, and so we will continue to prioritize safety as a chief concern as we continue to tell the stories and promote businesses around the country.

Looking towards 2021, we aim to continue to grow. In the same way, we aim to help our partners grow their businesses and organizations through a content-driven, 21st century approach to brand awareness. We are already preparing for continued partnerships with many of the businesses and organizations that we worked with in 2020 and are excited about the expanded projects that we look forward to announcing soon.

We also want to be there to help more businesses as the pandemic continues to add stress to certain industries. In 2021, we have set a goal of 100 projects with businesses and organizations of all sizes to help them survive and thrive during this year. We know as well as any the difficulties faced by business-owners during 2020 and set this goal as a benchmark for our contributions and assistance to the local communities these businesses call home.

Ruby Media commits to the new year, a rededication to storytelling. We have since the beginning focused on the stories of our partners, understanding that businesses are run by human beings, not by spreadsheets and sales tactics. Every business, from a mom-and-pop restaurant to a Fortune 500 company, has a story and history rich with human connection. In 2021, we want to make those stories known.

From our crew here at Ruby Media, we certainly wish everyone success in 2021, no matter how you define that success.
