Ruby Media was founded on the art of the short story. It was a series of short story competitions that forged the strong bond between co-founders Dan and Calen, eventually leading to this very organization. Short films are in our DNA. The short film is an iconic way to synopsize the emotional identity of a story, and that magic is the objective of every short film production we embark on. If Ruby Media wants to tell a story, short film production is our favorite way to do it.
Original Projects
Ruby Media short film productions often give us the opportunity to stretch our creative muscles without restriction, leading to short film productions from coming-of-age stories to the challenge of creating a political thriller within the span of 24 hours. However, we also know that filmmaking is one of the most collaborative creative arts there is. We are always looking for people with unique perspectives to share our efforts with to tell a story that’s entirely unique to our combined efforts.
